American Council of the Blind

Blind Babies Foundation

Blind Children's Center

Council of Exceptional Children (CEC)

Families and Advocates Partnership for Education (FAPE)
FAPE is a partnership that aims to improve the educational outcomes for children with disabilities. It links families, advocates, and self-advocates to information about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Infant-Toddler Program at Perkins School for the Blind

National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments (NAPVI)
This national organization enables parents to find information and resources for their children who are blind or visually impaired, including those with additional disabilities. National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities (NICHCY)
The Center serves as a national information and referral clearinghouse on special education and disability-related issues. It provides information on local, state, or national disability groups for parents and professionals and emphasizes parent group information. The Center offers personal responses to public inquiries and provides prepackaged information to frequently asked questions. It gives technical assistance to parent and professional groups.

National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS)
NLS administers a free program that loans recorded and braille books and magazines, music scores in braille and large print, and specially designed playback equipment to residents of the United States who are unable to read or use standard print materials because of visual or physical impairment.
